  The Palmerston North City Council's 'Official Millennium Programme' publication is unveiled by Mayor Jill White at Caccia Birch House in Palmerston North, then delivered to local households. Programme includes details of the VISION 100 project.

  EYE TV (New Zealand) single 'Just The Way It Is' is the first music give-away on VISION 100 - arranged by EYE TV drummer Luke Casey. The single is ranked Number 1 on our monthly chart for October 1999. On-line give-aways are via the VISION 100 e-group.

  VISION 100 begins streaming a New Zealand programme that can be heard using the Internet Explorer 5 Windows Radio Toolbar or Windows Media Player - the first local (within the District of Manawatu, New Zealand) radio station to begin streaming to the Internet.
